The project has now grown far beyond all expectations. However, there are still many areas with little or no coverage of Public Access Defibrillators, often due to lack of funding for those areas.
There is also an increased requirement to fund new batteries and pads to ensure that once installed they remain rescue ready.

Facebook has been a good source of raising funds for the odd set of pads etc. but we still have periods where defibrillators are temporally taken out of service whilst those funds are raised. To avoid this, we now need to look at more productive means of building up our reserves so that consumables can be replaced immediately upon expiration, and funds are available to assist with installing additional Defibrillators.

To achieve this we would like to invite like minded people to consider working with us to help save more lives by organising Fundraising Events such as:

1) Sponsored walks.
2) Sponsored runs.
3) Sponsored Golf tournaments.
4) Sponsored football or cricket matches.
5) Entertainment events.
6) Local raffles.
7) Other events in which you are experienced.

Banners and collection buckets can be provided for such as instore bucket collections stands at local fetes etc. and we would consider the provision of T Shirts for larger events.

We are open to creating a Fundraising team who can work together to make this venture even more successful. Are you a member of your local Lions/Rotary Clubs that may be interested in supporting the community. You can either Fundraise for general purposes, your specific locality or even a specific CPAD (Community Public Access Defibrillator).
